At present we do not quarrel & there is nothing on my part to keep alive the animosity that she has exhibited towards me for some years. If you now begin to urge reconciliation she will in true womanly perversity review in her own mind those old animosities now dormant or she will conclude that I am at the bottom of your appeal. will hate me worse than ever, & you may possibly come in for ill feeling. as a dupe & tool of mine.
