To-day in Brookfield Opt. went on duty at 7 PM and visited the guards regular during the night their different posts and was relieved a(t) 7 AM in the morning. Nothing of importance occurred.

To-day in Galesburg at 10.20 AM.  Opt.left the Hotel in company with Roberts and Hinkson: switchman, Hinkson told Opt., Monyahau of Chicago would be here with money for the switchman, $40 be expected. They then proceeded to Morris' Saloon where they met Morrion and Colhus[?]: she told Opt. that Geece was still in the city prison. At 1 PM Opt. and party went to Chas Saws' Barber Shop where they met Tom Riley and Ben Hocome they played card and about 6 PM where Geece came in and said he was fined $25 and [?] for carrying a concealed weapon and the Brotherhood paid his fine. He then carried the pistol as he pulled it...
