  I have just got home from the "Torpedo". To begin there was a heavy shower between 6 & 7. It stopped raining and looked bright in the west. 8 1/2 after the Children were all abed & asleep I though I would go down and see what there was.

In spite of the rain, the Hall was fully as full as comfortable in a warm evening. On one side, George & Martha Washington  in the person & Mr. & Mrs. Gates, dressed to perfection, and really looking it very well, Nelso & Anna Mills as Old Quaker and daughter, and etc. etc. with black servants as "Continental Tea Party."
In spite of the rain, the Hall was fully as full as comfortable in a warm evening. On one side, George & Martha Washington  in the person & Mr. & Mrs. Gates, dressed to perfection, and really looking it very well, Nelso & Anna Mills as Old Quaker and daughter, and etc. etc. with black servants as "Continental Tea Party."
  On the Stage alternate Tableaux & Music. Scenes from Ivanhoe. [[page is torn at both sides]] [[?]] Moody & Mrs. Bronson (Miss Cooley [[?]] as Rebecca & Rowena, & Kazz as Athelstane [[?]] Scenes from Hiawatha. Nelly [[?]] Minehaha & Dr. Cushing as that [[?]][[?]] etc.
