Of course; you will write me all about him -- and send me that Daguerreotype too, and write me of your own health as well as his -- will you not? Write me particularly. I want to hear of every time Mayo tumbles down and hurts himself! And whether he begins to try to talk any. and how many teeth he has always &c. I want to hear too about that Journey of Father & Mother. As for news. Horace Smith has today got back with his wife & child. been gone two weeks further, is to board her yet. 17 mos. old does not walk any yet. Mrs Smith is, as you say I believe, in an extremely flourishing condition. Mr Campbell is detained from his work here on acct of the imminent similar condition of his wife across Mr Keye's yard you know. Mrs. P.G. Wellis at unclear has another child since a week. This is a flourishing country you perceive. Samuel Conant has started home today; got a letter that his wife was sick, and would stay no longer; afraid to go too, I expect. He is just about as nervous & frightened enough to get the Cholera, if any one. This whole region is perfectly healthy, & the cities are improving I believe in that respect. If I do not get back here until Saturday night, I will expect to find two letters from you Most Sincerely Isaac.
