Aug 11 Met Chuck Scalars at Cass Lake. Mrs. P. Kennedy and E.J. Frellire whom I heard designated to represent this office in the examination of lands [[unclear]] reservations under my charge. Also [[unclear]] Field agent S.J. Coulter under whose direction the examination is being made. He is sending out two Crows of two men each. The state has its representations with any man with each crow will make four more. They are to live a Cook & Camp man for each crew and the experience to be borne equally and [[unclear]] [[unclear]] for experience incurred. They will be furnished with [[unclear]] blankets by the field agent. and copy will be made of each days work and mailed to this office as often as they have opportunity. - A record book to be kept by each and when work is completed to be filed in this office.
