    I have now to exhibit what disposition has been made of this seven millions, fifty two thousand two hundred & five dollars.
Obligations to the Nation Collectively.
    First, then, as to the five millions, three hundred & thirty thousand one hundred & thirty eight dollars, placed under the head of obligations to the Cherokee Nation Collectively.

The acts of appropriation conform to the division of the treaty into two parts, national & individual.

    Conformably with this plan, in the following tabular summary, the moneys allotted to meet the obligations to the Nation Collectively, are first enumerated, and then the moneys allotted for obligations to individuals of the Cherokee Nation.
    I.  Obligations to the Cherokee Nation Collectively.

Consideration for the territory east } $5,000,000.00

Osage reserves bought out from Cherokee country west, for the Cherokees} -- -- -- --$15,000

Improvements in Union and Harmony Missionary Reservations paid for to the American board for the Cherokees } $25,000

Obligations outstanding under former treaties}
