Friday night we stopped at Decatur with Mr Plant. H.B. Plant Eng. 4th Div. I had never met Mr Plant before; He is quite a young man, really good looking; and I liked him considerably. Saturday we came here; via Bloomington, LaSalle, Meneola & Aurora. I may be fortunate enough to get away from here tomorrow night or Tuesday morning, but may not. This Forenoon I went to the Plymouth Church; and heard Mr Eggleston preach It was a sermon to Children on New Year's time, upon the Youth of Christ. I noticed Mr Broad whom you remember coming to DuQuoin as Chorister, & singing powerfully! | ||
