Yours came to hand I was very glad to received it. Thanking you very much for your wishes for our dear Mary Elizabeth. My wife & Thomas say that she "taked after" you. Am happy to state that she [[?nces?]] stay well. My Wife & Daughter thought to come up this summer but I think she will not come again, the Lady that was to accompany her has decided not to go.
