To simply pay the interest every year, would not answer; it would of course leave the ownership of the property not in his hands, which I suppose he wants. The only feasible way I think of is an annuity in some shape. I could be made a life annuity. on the life assurance principles, but with some fuss: and moreover that would be hardly fair as it respects Mother's unmarried daughters who are unprovided for. How would an annuity for 20 year answer? $700, for twenty years would be towards $70, per year I believe, |
