would be nearly all by railroad, occupy but three or four days and I can come home very easily in vocation. So had I not best go? Say, all of you. I shall send a telegraph to day of probabilities - write a letter, - not fully decide, till I get an answer.--
  I mean at some rate or other to come up to Milo in the course of the week, to stay the fortnight before I start. hope we shall all get up there safely this week....
  Lucy is quite comfortable - only cannot walk or sit up all day on account of her back. we fear the ride up will be too much for her... Am glad you have a bed in the sitting room on Lucy's account.

[upside down] Jane's every day dress is left for Mrs. Finni to wash today. Lucy wants you to take a little care that she wears enough with her thin gingham so as not to take cold. -- additional shirt and something on her arms.
