I have been
thinking for some time to send
you a small gift. but have deferred
until the present time & now I send
you twenty dollars.  which I hope will be
acceptable.  You have made such great
sacrifices to sustain your papers.  that the
Welsh people all through the country
ought now to make it all up to you. 
Anything that you will write on this
subject you are at liberty to sign my
name to it. 
I saw Mr James Morgan
& he has agreed to pay me five dollars
before long towards what he owes for
the Canador which I will enclose
to you when I receive.  I have also
seen Evan Evans & he agrees to pay soon
