I sat down  yesterday
I sat down  yesterday morning to write to you, but concluded to delay until today thinking I might hear from Samuel in the mean time and  so have something definite to tell about going home, but no letter has come yet.  I think I mailed the last letter to you Friday and received the last from you Saturday.
