   Please excuse pencil as my ink has given out. I fear that I have been negligent of late and do not know where I left off in my diary but will begin with Saturday P.M. Went to church meeting & there Laura told me that Jennie [[Prince?]] wanted to see me at her house at 4 P.M. Went down, and after a little the bonnet came. It is said to be petty and becoming, cost for frame 25 cts. Making, 50 cts - Had previously left my broadcloth (from the cloak) at Mrs. Wms. & was to have been at her house Sat A.M but failed to go down was getting my ribbons ready &c. Went in there in the evening & she thought she could make a wrap of
