you tell of being abed apart of the forenoon, have you not been as well as normal________I haven't anything very special you know to keep me in one place more than another so if any of you are not well at any time and I can be useful to you I can start my stumps in a that time if you but let me know but if all are well____it seems to me I had better be here at present but I shall probably write again soon____shall have a letter from Joseph tomorrow I guess___Do you write again soon & tell us how whether you receive Jane "safe and sound". Angella Everett has got a son so has Mrs Richer & Mrs M. Clench & I don't know how many more___Mrs Aicken has gone on the river to work. She dismissed her nurse before her babe was a fortnight old-they have absolutely nothing to eat except what C furnishes they have had about all his wages now and he doesn't again to pay him any till winter they will not move away from Almeda this winter & I don't see hardly how they are going to live till next fall to say nothing about building a house.

23rd I am some afraid from what Isaac wrote in his last letter that he will not come any further than Waterford if Joseph does not come home but I shall feel very sadly about it if he does not-Joseph I suppose will think he had better not-If I don't have a letter from Joseph today what shall I do Albina has cut and made a vest for Charlie, out of his old blue coat all only I am making the button hole . Charlie sits on the floor before me making a Cob home has got it 4 cobs high in regular order his Cobs have roll'd under the stove so he goes round to the wood box and gets a stick to poke them and without asking any help he is a persevering little fellow. I am about getting my carpet now or rather a part of it. I want Eliab to get me 3 or 4 pounds of Cotton twine such as weavers use for loomers at Mrs Bughees or I can't get all my rags none have sent what warp & have got to Mrs Summer to weave shall make another piece if I get some more warp. I don't believe you can read this, I wish I had some ink.
