that the Grievance Committee from all roads in the Country had been sent Invitations to be here on the 22d but he thought from what he heard from the East none of them would come. as they say they will abide by what the Western Men does in the case. and that just as soon as Hoge and Murphy returns with their Official report then the Committee will get Together and do something for the future, and what will be done no one will know. but as far as they can see now the Strike will on. Got return papers and made up his mind to get out of Town by tomorrow, Opr returned to the Grand Pacific Hotel Again ata 12. Noon. remained there until 1:30 p.m. then left, returned again at 3 p.m. saw Hoge's son there on the steps of the National Hotel Stairs, and asked him where his Father was and he said he did not know. just then Opr saw Scott (d:30) Wroman. and unclear from Ft. Wayne. talking in the Hall Way did not venture near them. Scott came to Opr afterwards and wanted to know when Opr was going home to N.Y. State Scott evidently thinks Opr's Family are in Kingston N.Y. Opr told him that in a probability he would go home about next Tuesday or Wednesday. that he did not know for sure when he would go East, that he wanted to see the Strike settled in favor of the men before he left so they separated to meet tomorrow and hear the Trial at the Armory.
