Dear Sir. Following is the report of Opr. F.S. who with [[unclear]] men are stationed at Aurora Ills doing guard duty, etc. Opr reports that at 1 oclock a,m, and remained on duty guarding the R.R. [[unclear]] property until [6?]] oclock p.m. - found every thing safe - at 5 p.m. Opr was called to the office of Mr Rhodes - who told opr to detail one of the men to shadow one of the new engineers name Wagner. Mr Rhodes informed Opr that the Engineer (Wagner) made frequent visits to Chicago. and that he (Mr Rhodes) suspiconed Eng was in sympathy with Strikers. Thereupon Opr detailed B.F. Ray to shadow Engineer. Both Ray and. Eng left on Train No [[unclear]] at 5:30 P.M. for Chicago- Opr Instructed Shadow to keep track of the Engineer until he returned to Aurora and then at 6 p.m. I was relieved by [[unlcear]] [[Culkin?]]and men whom Opr detailed as follows: Officer Goodrich to watch all trains Coming and going and to escort all Passenger Trains going West. Officer Garrison to Patrol from the Depot to Main [[unclear]] and watch all trains Coming and Going and to look after all [[unclear]] on his beat. - Officer Culkin to watch
