Some strollers invited by Warwricks kind Lord
To his castle magnificent came
Prepar'd to admire both the owner & house
and to give them due honour and fame.
This Stables, his Cellar, his kitchen they crow'd
But alas! they soon found to their cost,
That if they expected to dine with my Lord
They reckon'd witht their great host.
He show'd them Guy's pot
But he gave them no soup
no meat could his Lordship allow
Unless they could pick the blade bone of the boar
Or the nib of the famous deer Cow
But since you're my friends said their complaisant Peer
I'll show you a new printed book
Which may to your taste some amusement afford
The hist'ry of Greville & Brooke
Since your Lordship is so civil, well bred and polite
You'l pardon one curse from a sinner
